Overview

OverviewText1

  • I work in the area of formal syntax and I am especially interested in studying data from closely related languages for the insights that such study can give into language structure and change. In my most recent work, I have focused on Oceanic languages, especially including Māori and the Vanuatu language Unua. I have also done research on synchronic and diachronic stages of languages in the Romance family.
