- I’m an ecologist with a background in applied mathematics and statistics. I work broadly across several different fields but have a particular interest in population and community dynamics. Most of my research focuses on developing statistical methods for the data we have rather than the data we wish we had. This includes developing integrated models that combine different data types in a single analysis, working with functional data, and working with emerging data types (e.g., genomic data, biochronological data). I'm currently a McKenzie Fellow in the Quantitative and Applied Ecology Group in the School of BioSciences.
