  • I am Senior Research Fellow in the Centre for Workplace Leadership, with research interests in employment relations, applied economics, and the future of work. My recent publications deal with the gig economy, the ageing workforce, and the consequences of skill shortages.

    I have led or been part of many consultancies for the Australian Government, employers, unions and other research organisations. These include recent studies of how new technologies are reshaping the Australian labour market, and profiles of the aged and disability care workforces. Much of my research involves survey design and analysis, especially linked employer-employee data collections.
