    • Welcome Everyone. I am Hasan Shahid Ferdous. I am a research fellow at the Microsoft Centre for SocialNUI, School of Computing and Information Systems, University of Melbourne, Australia. My PhD research was focused on social and collaborative use of technologies, particularly in the family mealtime context. Currently I am working on Virtual, Augmented, and Mixed reality applications for various social spaces. I am also interested in touch, eye-gaze and other NUI interactions in the public or private social settings.

    • 1. I was associate sub-project manager of the project "Development of Mobile Computing Lab for Teaching, Learning, and Research". We receive a 230k USD grant from the World Bank’s academic innovation fund with Prof. Sohel Rahman and Prof. Mostafa Akbar at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh.

      2. I was a researcher for the project SQL Learning and Evaluation System and received a 8.7k USD research grant from the Ministry of Education, Bangladesh Government. I worked with Prof. ASM Latiful Haque and Prof. Mahfuzul Islam at the Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology, Bangladesh for this grant.
