  • My research focuses on the understanding of fluvio-deltaic systems and the controls and mechanisms governing their formation, morphology and long-term preservation into the rock record. I combine numerical modeling and field observation to understand these systems. My research is relevant for a broad range of applications spanning from hydrocarbon exploration to river and delta management. My previous research focused on understanding the responses of ancient ecosystems to previous climatic changes as analogs for the ongoing climatic change.
