  • Francisco Azpitarte joined the Melbourne Institute as Research Fellow in March 2011. He joined the Melbourne Institute after finishing his Post-doctoral studies at the London School of Economics and Political Science. He holds a PhD in Economics from the University of Vigo and received his MSc in Economic Analysis from the Universitat Autonoma de Barcelona in 2005.

    His main research interests are the measurement of poverty and inequality. He is member of the International Association of the Review of Income and Wealth and the Association for the Research on Economic Inequality.
