  • Eric is Associate Professor at the Bio21 Institute and  heads the Advanced Microscopy Facility. He joined the University of Melbourne early in 2010 after postdoctoral studies at the University of Adelaide and Latrobe University where he respectively studied extracellular matrix architecture and the ultrastructure of the malaria parasite Plasmodium.
    His research interests are mainly in 3D imaging using electrons or Xrays
