  • Dr O'Neill is a Postdoctoral Fellow in the social dimensions of climate adaptation at the University of Melbourne, Australia. She is an environmental geographer whose research focuses on the social dimensions of climate change. Dr O'Neill conducts interdisciplinary research investigating the emotional, cognitive and behavioural components of risk perception, risk communication and public engagement with climate change mitigation and adaptation. She has expertise in mixed methodology studies, combining quantitative methods such as surveys or GIS with qualitative interview or focus group methods.
