Supervision Statement

  • The laboratory is interested in neural circuits that regulate complex behaviours, with a focus on autonomic regulation of the cardiovascular system. We examine humans and experimental animals. Work in experimental animals ranges from reduced in vitro preparations through to freely moving, telemetered preparations. We specialize in using replication-deficient viruses to transduce specific neurons to enable optogenetic and chemogenetic analysis of activity.
