DR SANDRA RADOVINI

Dr Radovini is the Director of Mindful – Centre for Training and Research in Developmental Health. This is the Victorian state-wide teaching and training unit for child and adolescent mental health. Mindful is funded by a grant from the Victorian Department of Health and jointly auspiced by The University of Melbourne and Monash University.
There are currently seven postgraduate courses hosted by Mindful enrolling over 150 professionals annually.
A key function of Mindful is the provision of professional forums, workshops, short courses for CAMHS Child & Adolescent Health Services clinicians and clinicians working in other sectors e.g. education, welfare, private practice.
Dr Radovini is also the Director of Advanced Training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry for Victoria under the guidelines of the RANZCP Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrist.
She also co-ordinates the Child and Adolescent subject of the MPsych/MPM, Master of Psychiatry, Master of Psychological Medicine University Of Melbourne and Monash University. This is the formal education component for all psychiatry training in Victoria.
In Nov 2011 Dr Radovini was appointed as the inaugural Clinical Director of headspace National, Youth Mental Health Foundation, an Australian Commonwealth Government initiative to provide early access to mental health services for youth 12-25.
