Biography
Brigid Jordan is Associate Professor of Paediatric Social Work (Infant and Family) at the Royal Children's Hospital. This poistion is a joint endeavour between The Royal Children's Hospital and the Department of Paediatrics at The University of Melbourne and is supported by a grant from Melbourne Community Foundation. This position provides leadership in practice based paediatric social work research and knowledge transfer in the field of infant mental health. Dr Jordan is also Group Leader of the Social and Mental Health Aspects of Serious Illness Research Group at the Murdoch Childrens Research Institute.
Brigid was involved with colleagues in establishing the Graduate Diploma and Masters courses in Infant Mental Health offered through the Department of Psychiatry at The University of Melbourne.
