Biography
Dr Mile Terziovski is an Associate Professor of Management in the Department of Management and Marketing at the University of Melbourne, and a Visiting Professor in the Department of Management Science at the University of Versailles, St Quentin, France. He teaches Innovation and Entrepreneurship at postgraduate and under graduate levels. For the past 10 years, he has been the Foundation Director of the Centre for Global Innovation and Entrepreneurship (CGIE), (incorporating the Euro-Australian Cooperation Centre). Dr Terziovski obtained his PhD from the Melbourne Business School. He worked at Monash University for 4 years before returning to The University of Melbourne in 2000. Prior to his academic career, Dr Terziovski worked for Rio Tinto Ltd for a period of 17 years where he held various management positions in production, engineering and project management within the Rio Group. He has published 4 books, 20 book chapters, and 42 articles in refereed international journals (one in-press) such as the Journal of Operations Management where he won a best paper award in 1999. In 2008 and 2009 he won best paper wards at the Academy of Management Operations Management Division. Recently, Dr Terziovski had a single authored paper accepted in the premier Strategic Management Journal (SMJ). He has also won several Deans awards for research and teaching excellence.

Additional Grant and Contract Information
Associate Professor Terziovski has achieved a sustained and distinguished record of scholarship, ranging across the strategy, innovation/entrepreneurship and quality management disciplines as outlined below:
• Won an ARC Discovery grant and two ARC Linkage grants to study innovation management practices in the manufacturing, services and biotechnology sectors.
• Won three International Linkage Grants to collaborate with Australian and European partners under the EU 4th, 5th and 6th Framework programs:
- Australian Project Leader for a EU-Australia 5th Framework collaborative project COST-WORTH to develop and test methodology for process innovation.
- Current Australian Project Leader for a EU-Australia 6th collaborative project (AMI-4-SME) to investigate the role of ambient technologies in the development of integrated supply chains.
Publications
Publications produced at the University of Melbourne and reported in the Annual Publications Collection and 'Research Report' since 2001. The Themis Publications module, released in November 2006, allows additional publications from previous institutions and publications from past years to be entered.
