Biography
Dr John O'Connor has worked clinically as a psychologist with a focus on addicitve behaviours and war veteran-related issues. During 2006-07 he was National Director of Clinical Services of the Veterans Counselling Service (Dept. of Veterans Affairs). He has also lectured in tertiary institutions since 1986, conducted professional training and supervision, and developed training resources. He has published in the area of alcohol/drug use issues, excessive gambling and the nature of impaired control over behaviour.
