Biography
Jennifer Grafton joined the Department of Accounting and BIS in 2002, prior to which she was employed as a business consultant at Arthur Andersen and completed her PhD at the University of Melbourne. Her current research and teaching interests lie in the field of management accounting with particular emphasis on research and teaching in organisational performance management and control.
Jennifer's current research projects focus on performance management and control in network organisations, performance measurement system design, processes of managerial decision making, innovation and organisational learning for firm performance, and the role of corporate governance in creating firm value. These studies are conducted across a variety of industries including the manufacturing and service sectors, independent book publishing and not-for-profit hospitals.
Jennifer teaches across a range of undergraduate subjects in the Department and in executive training programs for hospital management and the oil and gas industry.
