Biography

Peter Ashford is a graduate of The University of Melbourne and has been lecturing in the Faculty since 1974. He has worked extensively in the building and construction industry, managing his own firm, and in the capacity of a building consultant. In 1977 he received the FE Crowle Memorial Award for Teaching Excellence from the Australian Institute of Building.

Peter Ashford's research interests include high performance industrial ground slabs, timber engineering design, structural modifications to existing buildings, and the buildability and protection of reinforced concrete structures.
