Biography

Christiane Kehoe completed her Bachelor of Social Science with honours in Psychology at Swinburne
University, Melbourne, Australia. Her honours theses explored parents’ emotional intelligence, emotionrelated
socialisation practices and their relationship to adolescent emotional intelligence. She has been
working as a research assistant on the ‘Tuning in to Kids’ study at Mindful, Centre for Training and Research
in Developmental Health, the University of Melbourne at Austin Health and is currently completing her PhD at
Melbourne University investigating the efficacy of the ‘Tuning in to Teens’ parenting program in preventing
internalizing disorders in adolescents. She is currently the Program Manager of the Tuning in to Teens Research Project.
