Biography
Jillian Walliss joined the Faculty from the School of Design, Victoria University, Wellington in 2007. Her primary teaching interests are design studio and theory encompassing landscape architecture and urban design. Prior to moving to New Zealand, she taught landscape architecture at University of Adelaide for five years, as well as contributing to the University of Tasmania’s Bachelor of Environmental Design in Hobart, where she completed her Master of Design. Jillian holds a Bachelor of Landscape Architecture from UNSW and has worked in NSW State and local government including the Building Better Cities programs, urban renewal projects and aboriginal housing in regional NSW, Newcastle and Sydney.
