Biography
Dr. Ajibade Aibinu Lectures in quantity surveying and construction economics in the property and construction programme. He joined the faculty from the National University of Singapore, where he was a PhD Research Scholar and Teaching Assistant in professional practice (construction), building measurement and construction management . Prior to joining the National University of Singapore, he was a Lecturer at Obafemi Awolowo University for 6 years where he taught measurement of building and civil engineering works, tendering and estimating, building contracts, construction management and economics, and advanced cost control. At that time, he participated in the monitoring of a multi-million dollars World Bank assisted institutional project. His experience over the last twelve years has been interplay of teaching, research and industry practice in quantity surveying and construction project management. Ajibade has published his research work in reputable international journals in construction engineering and management. He has also presented research papers at various international conferences. Ajibade is a member of the Australian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (AAIQS) as well as an Associate member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators (CIArb). He is an occasional and regular reviewer for thirteen (13) international journals including ASCEJournal of Construction Engineering and Management, Construction Management and Economics, and Automation in Construction.
