Biography
Michael Brear is a Senior Lecturer in the Department of Mechanical and Manufacturing Engineering at the University of Melbourne, Australia. Dr. Brear’s research and teaching are in the areas of aerothermodynamics and control. His research involves collaboration with Alstom (Switzerland), CERFACS (France), the Ford Motor Company of Australia, Holden Limited and Orbital Corporation. Dr. Brear is also running the University’s contribution to the ‘Advanced Centre for Automotive Research and Testing ( ACART )’, which is a collaborative venture between the University and the Ford Motor Company of Australia.
