Overview

OverviewText1

  • My work principally involves the use of functional neuroimaging techniques to study the brain basis of emotional disturbance in mood and anxiety disorders, including major depression, social anxiety disorder and obsessive-compulsive disorder. Related to this work, I have a basic interest in the characterising the functional role of brain corticostriatal, central autonomic and default-mode systems. I participate in several competitively funded national and international research projects, in addition to leading two current NHMRC Project Grants.
