  • Ben is appointed as Associate Professor and Principal Research Fellow at Melbourne Neuropsychiatry Centre (Dept. Psychiatry), The University of Melbourne. Since receiving his PhD in 2006, he has been funded by NHMRC fellowships and project grants. Ben has broad research interests in the area of affective neuroscience with relevance to the study of mood and anxiety disorders. His current projects have a particular focus on characterising the neural basis of negative emotional states and how individual differences in brain-body interactions contribute to the risk of depression and anxiety. Ben has published close to 100 peer-reviewed research articles on these and related topics over the past decade.
